Terms of Service

Inventory — Track what you own

Last updated: May 27, 2026

By creating an account or using the Inventory app and backend (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.

1. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and you’re responsible for activity that happens under it. Don’t share your password or API keys with people you don’t trust. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Service, violate these Terms, or put other users or our infrastructure at risk.

2. Your content

The items, photos, and other data you put into the app are yours. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service for you (including running the vision model on photos you submit and serving items to assistants you authorize). We don’t claim ownership and we don’t use your content to train AI models.

3. Subscriptions and billing

The Service offers a free tier of 5 lifetime AI photo recognitions and a paid subscription of 50 AI photo recognitions per month for US$4.99/month. AI photo recognition is the only metered action — storing, editing, searching, and deleting your items is unmetered.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID through the App Store.
  • The subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel through your Apple subscription settings, at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
  • If you cancel, you keep access through the end of the current billing period.
  • If a photo recognition request fails, you are not charged for it and may retry.
  • If your payment fails or the subscription expires, your items remain accessible but you cannot run new photo recognitions until you re-subscribe.

4. Acceptable use

Don’t use the Service to:

  • Store or share content that’s illegal, harmful, or violates someone else’s rights.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or otherwise interfere with the backend or other users.
  • Circumvent the free-tier or subscription limits on AI photo recognition, or share a single account across separate people or organizations.

5. Connected AI assistants

You can authorize AI assistants (e.g., Claude Code, Claude Desktop) to query your inventory via MCP. When you do, those assistants act on your behalf and you’re responsible for the actions they take and the data they read. You can revoke any connection at any time from the app.

6. Service availability

We work to keep the Service reliable but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may change, add, or remove features and may need to take the service down for maintenance.

7. Termination

You can delete your account at any time, which permanently removes your data. We may terminate or suspend your account for serious or repeated violations of these Terms.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.

9. Changes to these Terms

If we change these Terms in a material way, we will update the “Last updated” date and notify you in the app. Continued use after the change means you accept the new Terms.
